"Creating Worldwide Friendships, Everyday!" Sometimes kids and parents have different ideas about having fun. That's hardly a surprise is it? Vacations are for the whole family of course, and your child will take back marvelous memories if they get a chance to spend a day with Kids' Camp. With both day and evening sessions available, this safe and fun, and educational program will allow your child to enjoy the limitless opportunities that Lake Tahoe has to offer. Kids' Camp is open to children age's 6 years and older. Kids' Camp is in no way a baby sitting service, but rather a well-rounded program of exciting adventures and activities. This program continues to use every tool available to ensure that each day will leave your child with great adventure memories. Kids' Camp Meets At Embassy Suites Hotel Kids' Camp uses the Embassy Suites Hotel lobby to pick up and return participants. Drop off times is as
follows:
Day Sessions Run Memorial Day - Labor Day Day Sessions begin with an educational hike at one of the popular hiking trails located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. This is a great way for the children to get to know each other while learning about Lake Tahoe and the environment. Some of the other morning activities can also include basketball, soccer, volleyball, as well as other outdoor games. After lunch (usually McDonald's, pizza, etc.), the kids do one of a variety of activities. These can include movies, bowling, or miniature golf. Special trips to the Carson Valley Swim Center (diving boards, water slides, kid pools & many lifeguards!) are also an option. Other swimming options are Embassy Suites indoor pool. Kids’ Camp DOES NOT swim in Lake Tahoe due to the cold water temperatures. After an activity, we get a snack (ice cream, slurpee, etc.) and if time permits, we will finish Kids' Camp in one of the local arcades playing video games (additional money required). Parents need to pick up their children between 3:45 & 4:00 P.M inside the lobby of Embassy Suites. Day Session Fees: $90 Per Child Make a reservation now!
Parents need to pick up their children between 9:45 & 10:00 P.M. Evening Session Fees: $60 Per Child Make a reservation now! Kids' Camp Reservations Reservations are required! Kids' Camp is open to children age's 6 years and older. Kids' Camp has room for only 15 children in each session. Kids' Camp sells out frequently, so reservations should be made as soon as possible. Special Group Rates & Programs Available If your company or group is planning a Lake Tahoe event, why not let Kids' Camp entertain the kids. Since 1992, Kids' Camp has coordinated many special events for groups such as Sun Microsystems, Young Entrepreneur's of America and also Harrah's & Harveys VIP Kids' New Years Eve Party. If you have a special theme or idea, call Mark Heidt @ 775-267-6399 and discuss them with him. Kids' Camp promises to "Create Memories That Will Last a Lifetime!" Special rates will be offer for groups of 10 children or more that attend Kids' Camp. Additional Information Kids' Camp has room for only 15 children in each session. There are always two adults for sessions with eight or more children. A cellular phone is with the staff at all times and parents may call as often as they wish.
